  I read somewhere that this was the best restaurant in LA this year and waited three weeks for a reservation. We were a bit late and they were very patient which was appreciated. But then we had to beg for service, which was frazzled throughout. Got the sea urchin linguine, nothing special, the branzino, okay. Dover sol, meh. Pear salad, typical. With no dessert or coffee and two glasses of wine (water rec ended up to be $21 a glass) it was $200. Crowded, loud, at one point the waiter was screaming in my ear to speak to the table next to us. I was waiting for this reservation with great anticipation, expecting some great flavors, original presentations, something truly unique give it was rated the #1 LA place in 2016. Nothing to write home about here.

  This place is hit or miss, I like a good lettuce wrapped burger. They do that well. Next time I will request my Burger well done, because outr last visit our burgers were dripping like I ordered it med rare... that was a first though. I like their lager beer and the thousand island dressing keeps me coming back to be honest. It's really special.
